It’s as if a fairytale landscape comes to life for you… It’s a wonderful experience to glide in nature in the safest and most unique way… It’s as if the forest has been filled with water and you are floating in it with the help of canoes (as stable as a boat)…

What tales do the birds tell? Our next location for the Landscape Tales is Lake Tisza and the bird reserve. Lake Tisza’s unique natural and waterfront features create a landscape that is unique in Central Europe. On this trip you can admire the inimitable atmosphere of the romantic water world and bird paradise.
The tour starts in the morning to see and hear as many birds as possible. During our trip, we will see everything from wading birds to birds of prey and songbirds, even beavers if we are lucky. Lake Tisza is home, food and security for more than 200 species of birds. Our guide is an expert on this special world. We recommend the tour to anyone who loves birds, wants to learn about the sounds of birds, their breeding habits or their migrations.
We also recommend it for people who like photography, who love water and the aquatic world, and for people who can swim (but if you can’t, we’ll give you a vest). We’ll paddle at a comfortable pace for about 6 hours in our 3-4 person tour canoes, with several stops to huddle, have a snack, hydrate and learn a lot from our guide about birds. (A waterproof case and a neck holster are recommended – there are a lot of phones in Lake Tisza
already).
We start from Tiszavalk, where we’ll get our canoes ready – or if you’ve never paddled before, you’ll get a quick lesson – and then we’ll take to the water.
We’ll touch lookouts, islands and everything else this vast wetland has to offer in a day. We will also take our lunch with us on the lake while we rest.

Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
The tour is not recommended for children under 5-6 years of age.
